Travel in Davao City

                                          Davao City

Davao city is so popular here in Mindanao, and everyone wants to go there and i am one of them. When i was a child, i really! really like to go there. and of course now that i am a big girl, i can go anywhere i want, and also i can go now in Davao whenever i want to go..

Crocodile Park, Davao City

When i was in high school we always have a field trip in Davao so i visit different spots there. First is the Davao Crocodile Park-Considered as one of the finest tourist attractions in Davao, Philippines, Davao Crocodile Park boasts thousands of its self-nurtured Crocodiles as well as a wide variety of flora and fauna. It is a home to the tamed wildlife beasts which are nourished and given world-class care. Davao Crocodile Park boasts its one of a kind zoo which housed different animals such as crocodiles, birds, snakes, monkeys among many others. The Davao Crocodile Park all started from the enchantment of the owner, Mr. Philip Dizon, to Freshwater and Saltwater Crocodiles. It was not in his mind that this is a moneymaking business until he realized that crocodiles are raised in the United States of America not just for public viewing but for production of leather to be made into bags, belts and shoes as well.  It was in November 1995 when the government has given Mr. Philip Dizon the accreditation and permits to operate the 1st ever Davao Crocodile Park. 10 years later, on August 18, 2005, the world-class Davao Crocodile Park was opened with the help of the consultant Dr. Gilbert Buenviaje. The Davao Crocodile Park Inc. is owned and operated by a group of businessmen headed by Mr. Sonny Dizon, a resident of Davao City. The Davao Crocodile Park is an establishment that showcases a “state of the art” crocodile farming system in the Philippines. It has the most recent crocodile farm design equipped with modern facilities and equipments. The presence of other exotic animal species like raptors, monkeys, bearcats, snakes, birds, and other reptiles makes it one of the most desired tourist destinations in Davao.

Students there were very disciplined and you will not say that they have disorders, because they were good and amazing than normal people. they were all talented there. the school were so nice and clean. each classroom were so clean and only students do that. students there were teach how to do household cores like cooking and baking..

Next is Science Centrum it is really nice to go their, especially when you are a science lover. there were many advance science technologies that will educate students and it really helps students know everything about each matter. i really enjoy each activity we do there..

Jack's Ridge, one spot that we have fun on it. we are like stupids who count the steps on stairs that there were no destination but a dead end on the last step.. and we enter on the restricted area of that place, we didn't notice it because we enter on the other side that has no warning.. i also try to ride on children's playground that adult's like me is prohibited to do..:)

Shrine of Holy Infant Jesus of Prague

Shrine of the Holy Infant Jesus  of Prague, the shrine is located at Matina Shrine Hills. It is so funny when we went there, because it is unexpected. We thought that shrine is too far away from Jack's Ridge that we decided not to continue to go in shrine. But when we ask on the people there, they said that Shrine was in the front of Jack's Ridge it is on the other side of the road. the place were soo solemn and no one make a noise. you can feel the sacredness of the place.

Forest Park in People's Park.
